Drew this in February, finished it in May. Had never played American McGee's Alice until just before I finished it. Love that game to bits. So awesome. It all started with the Chthulu...thingie. Then I realized I didn't know how to draw them. So I drew Alice, then the Cheshire (upper left), and went all over the place from there. And the Chthulu thingie ended up in a box. A present. A very merry unbirthday to you, indeed... And yes, I know, this is in Anime because I really didn't know where to put it.
Done 100% in Bic ballpoint pen, with red Copic marker.
My favorite things about this are the psychotic hedgehogs (they're in there, really they are), and Catapillar's hooka. I love that hooka! I'm so happy with it. It's neefty. Ballpoint pens are my friend.
I don't normally leave comments (far too lazy), but this drawing just demands it. It is insanely amazing. The shading is O o O inspiring, and boy do I wish I could do that with a ballpoint pen! I'm lucky if I can write with one, let alone do something as gorgeous as this.
I want to see this as an Alice in Wonderland movie! Forget Disney; they didn't make the characters hawt (I'm sure you remember what Disney's version of the Mad Hatter looks like)! Though I'm not fond of the medical paraphenalia.... At least, I hope it's for medical purposes (though I rather doubt it) O_O;;;.

I see the hedgehogs!
The medical paraphenalia is there because that's what happened when I was doodling. It's just there because I liked how they came out.
Wait, something was happening involving medical paraphenalia or you just doodled that in and decided to leave it? I am confuzzled by this.
* stares at the evil alien.........thing * Creepy.
