My first holiday commission!

It had been reserved back in October, but I had recently gotten the payment for it, and finished it. Getting the zombie skintone colored properly was a bit tricky, but I had a lot of fun overall. It's not often I get to draw zombies! That and pulling a Resident Evil spoof is always fun.
Characters are the reversed gender forms of Yuuhi Kurenai and Sarutobi Asuma from Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto.
The only thing I really see wrong with it is the anatomy on the two. The top part of the girl is good (though you could thin her neck and shorten her nose just a little, but it's not a big deal), but the bottom is off. You have a great arch in the back but then it goes down to legs that go straight. The curve should continue to show a butt and curve the legs so they're narrower at the knees than the hip connection. The crotch is a little high as well. I see you drew a seem for the jeans on the side, so good job on attention to detail ^^
The zombie is off because his head looks a little big for his body (it's prolly the hair throwing me off) and the coloring on his legs make them a little flat and cut out looking. I'd get rid on the highlight on the inside and give it some dark darks and shade out to give his legs a more round shape. He just doesn't have as much love and detail put into him as the girl (I'm going to guess you mabey drew him after the girl?) You did a great job on the blood though and it looks very convincing, and overall he looks great. I love zombies.
By the way, the detail in that girl's arm badge is impressive.
You're right, I really lost the feel for the poses from the waist down. I get these great ideas for upper-body poses, but it's like I never know what to do with the legs. It's very frustrating.
He was really hard to nail down the whole way through. I had a rough time with his pose, I was never sure how I wanted to get his expression, then somewhere between the pencils to colors stage his hair went 80's hairband on me. Not sure how that happened. And yeah, I had Asuka's pose done long before I could figure out what to do with him. As fun as the subjects were, I had a lot of tough spots on this one.
High quality Resident Evil references for the win. It's actually legible on the original. XD;;
I know you were on a commission which makes it a time game, but what I do when I'm stuck is I put a piece down for a couple days and come back to it. ^^
\o/
But you're right, aside from the helicopter, the background's rather sad looking. > >;;
