In preparation for Anime Expo, as well as warming myself up to polish off those last few commissions, I started making badges for some friends. Unfortunately, you can't see all the detail in the orange borders, as there's some shading that was washed out by the scanner. My scanner is good, but not that good.

I tried a trick I'd seen *tomhoshino use, as I thought it'd be kinda awesome. She makes it work really well on her pieces, and learning something new never hurts. So I picked up a white paint pen and tried it. I really like the look, actually.

That and I really like how her name came out. :3
